The house in question is a mid terrace design with a Kitchen/Dining area to the rear. Space is constrictive and access to and from the garden is difficult.
Or brief was to provide a spacious and light filled living area which engaged with the garden together with a revised master bedroom arrangement at first floor.
Our client wished to explore a contemporaneous solution so as to offer a more cohesive counter-point to the general design approach of this 1980s housing estate.
